Get ready for an evening filled with surprises at the South Fork Natural History Museum
's Annual Summer Gala Benefit, A Journey into the Wild.
This year's benefit will take place on Saturday, July 8, from 7 to 10 p.m., with a special VIP pre-gala Cocktail Reception from 6 to 7 p.m.

This year's benefit will honor wildlife conservationists Alan Rabinowitz, Chris Fischer and Peter Beard and his wife, Nejma Beard. Rabinowitz, who is the CEO of Panthera, has dedicated his work to the conservation of the world's wild cats. Fischer is a pioneer in the study and tracking of great white and tiger sharks and also a founding chairman of Ocearch
. Peter Beard is an artist, author and photographer whose work has been showcased in galleries around the world.
The pre-gala VIP Cocktail Reception will feature a special tasting menu

Gala Reception attendees will enjoy farm-to-table and sustainable seafood hors d'oeuvres catered by Peter Ambrose, special guest surprises, auctions, an honoree presentation, dancing and a special guest performance by Livingston Taylor. In addition, some of the 2017 Alfa-Romeo cars will be on display courtesy of Brown's Alfa Romeo.

"This gala benefit promises to be a very special one as we are honoring acclaimed artists and environmentalists Nejma and Peter Beard, Chris Fischer and Alan Rabinowitz," noted Diana Aceti, SoFo's Development Director. "We hope that everyone will reserve their tickets and tables very soon as we have limited availability."
The Gala will support educational and environmental programming and community initiatives at the Museum.
VIP tickets are $1,300, general admission tickets are $425 and young professionals tickets (30 & under) are $275. VIP tables are also available for $5,000 to $25,000.
