On Sunday, June 4, Southampton Cultural Center (SCC) will toast to providing the Southampton community with 31 years of education, exhibition and performance during SCC’s Second Annual Gala: An Evening of Wine & Roses. Taking place from 5 to 8 p.m. at Southampton Social Club, the soiree will feature mouthwatering dishes and wines, impressive live and silent auctions, and more.
An Evening of Wine & Roses will commemorate several local trailblazers, including Tom Clavin, a New York Times bestselling author; Dan Gasby, restauranteur and brain health advocate; Mark Epley, Southampton Village Mayor; Bonnie Grice, actress, NPR Broadcaster and host; Phil Keith, author, publisher and educator; and Paton Miller, artist and educator.
“We are thrilled to be the chairs of SCC’s gala and join with hundreds of community leaders, artists, and residents of Southampton in acknowledging the priceless contribution that SCC has made over the years,” shared Thomas Farrell and Barbara Kushner, gala co-chairs. “We welcome the wider community to join us in this special event and lend their support to a remarkable institution which has offered thousands of people the opportunity to experience the treasures of artistic and human expression.”
Gus Rosendale, reporter and news anchor for NBC 4 New York, will serve as the evening’s Master of Ceremonies.
Tickets to An Evening of Wine & Roses are $125 for Emerging Leaders (those under 35) and $225 for general admission.
