Southampton Arts Center will commemorate the end of another spectacular summer season by hosting its Third Annual SummerFest Food and Wine Festival on Thursday, September 1st from 6 to 10 p.m. Taking place at the Southampton-based Center, along with offering an abundance of mouthwatering bites and sips, the evening will pay tribute to the first recipient of the Southampton Arts Center Champion of the Arts Award, Renee Harbers Liddell.
“Honoring Renee with our first Champion of the Arts award was the perfect choice – she is one of those angels who has supported us from the beginning and through her affiliation with International Center of Photography has brought us the wonderful exhibition we currently have on view as well as Cuba! Cuba! last summer,” shared Event Chair Simone Levinson.
SummerFest will highlight an array of restaurants and chefs that are based on the East End as they serve up a multitude of appetizing options. Attendees can also admire SAC’s Winning the White House: From Press Prints to Selfies exhibit, presented by International Center of Photography, capture a memory in the campaign-themed photo booth, and enjoy music from DJ Karin Ward.
“It’s the sunset of the summer,” noted Levinson, “and a wonderful way to enjoy delicious food and celebrate everything that makes Southampton Arts Center and the Hamptons special.”
