With the beautiful weather in the Hamptons this summer, it’s easy to feel lucky to be out here. But, for those Hamptonites looking to test that luck AND help support a good cause, the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center has the perfect opportunity as they host their very own Casino Night FUNdraiser on Friday, July 22nd at 8 p.m. on the Great Lawn in Westhampton Beach.
“We are putting the “Fun” back in Fundraising,” said Clare Bisceglia, the Executive Director of the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center. “A glorious night of Food, Dancing Games, Prizes and more…all in support of the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center!”
The event will give participants a chance to bet against the house as they try their hands at Blackjack (21), Roulette, and other various poker games, along with shooting Craps and Slot Machines. For those looking to join in the fun that aren’t familiar with all the poker variations, don’t worry. Professional Croupiers will be on hand to make sure all games are being played correctly, and to assist and encourage newbies all the way (to the bank)!
For those looking for a little more personal help, private poker lessons will be available with 3-time World Series of Poker champion, Matt Matros, in the VIP Sponsor Lounge.
In addition to the exciting night of gambling, there will also be delicious “Dinner in Bites” provided by the Stone Creek Inn, the Braun Seafood Raw Bar, and Sushi 1, and drinks available from a top shelf open bar “to whet a winner’s whistle, because everyone’s a winner at this event for supporting the WHBPAC.”
As if that wasn’t enough, the tent will also be fully air-conditioned and complete with a DJ booth and dance floor, for when you need to take a break from the gambling. There will also be a silent auction where guests can outbid their peers on items such as VIP tickets to Tony Bennett at Radio City Music Hall, an 18 Carat Amethyst Ring surrounded by 32 VV3 diamonds set in 18 carat cold, a chance to be a character in James Patterson’s next best seller, and more.
Individual tickets are $300 and provide $150 in Casino Cash.
