On Friday, December 4th, the Children’s Museum of the East End (CMEE) is presenting the 2nd Annual Trivia Night Fundraiser, proudly sponsored by Hamptons.com. “We had so much fun last year, we jumped at the opportunity to do it again,” said Steve Long, the Museum’s President. “Not only will this directly benefit kids living on the East End, but it aligns with our mission to connect the community by providing playful experiences.”
From 8 to 10 p.m., join CMEE at Townline BBQ for a little friendly competition between groups, as the Museum tests attendees on their knowledge of a variety of subjects (so make sure to assemble a team with different strong suits). “If I didn’t know the answers beforehand, I’d definitely be putting a team together,” shared Paul A. Johnson, the Museum’s Marketing Coordinator and resident trivia host. “And while most of our events are kid-friendly, you’ll want to hire a sitter for this one…unless you think your six-year-old will be helpful during the current events round.”
The top three teams will come away with prizes, which include baseball hats and gift certificates to Rowdy Hall in East Hampton. Attendees who enter CMEE’s raffle will also have the opportunity to take home gifts from local businesses like the Mill House Inn and Wolffer Estate Vineyard.
Tickets are $10 per player in advance and $15 at the door. Teams may consist of up to five players.
Proceeds from Trivia Night will support CMEE on Wheels, the Museum’s initiative to bring family programming to underserved East End communities.
Townline BBQ is located at 3593 Montauk Highway in Sagaponack. For more information, call 631-537-8250 or visit www.cmee.org.
