“Our winter trivia night has become an annual event. It gets people out in the quiet time of winter for a little fun,” said Nicole Starr Castillo, Citizens for Access Rights (CfAR) Secretary. “It also gives us a chance to jump start our membership renewal for the 2015 season. Beach access is an ongoing issue, so we want to be sure it is top of mind year round.”
On Friday, February 27th, CfAR is hosting their annual Trivia Night at the Amagansett American Legion Hall. Gather a group of well-rounded friends (each team can have up to four people) and get ready to test your expertise of current affairs and other topics during an entertaining evening. Singles may also register and will be placed on a team. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the trivia begins at 7 p.m. The first place team will take home a cash prize.
Admission to Trivia Night is $25 per person and $20 for 2015 CfAR members. To register in advance, send the team name to [email protected].
All proceeds will benefit CfAR and support their mission of protecting beach access on the East End.
Amagansett American Legion Hall is located at 15 Montauk Highway in Amagansett. For more information, visit /www.citizensforaccessrights.com.
