“It’s always tea time,” noted The Mad Hatter in Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.” While he may have been considered to be a bit on the crazy side, the iconic character was definitely onto something.
On Sunday, February 1st at 2 p.m., steal a page from the Brits and join the Hampton Bays Library in the Helen Gould Room for a Mad About Hats Tea Party. Break out your fanciest hat and take part in the British tradition as you enjoy scones, tea sandwiches, petit fours, cookies and of course, an assortment of teas.
Proceeds from the event will help support other exciting events at the Library such as concerts, bus trips, dinner/theater nights, summer reading, an author luncheon, and more.
Admission to the Mad About Hats Tea Party is $25 per person.
