The Children’s Health Fund, an organization dedicated to supporting New York City’s homeless children and their families, is hosting Sunset Cocktails on Mill Pond at a private home in Water Mill. On Saturday, August 9, 2014, guests will enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, music from DJ Stephen of Jarrell Entertainment and a live auction while helping to eliminate poverty in New York.
The evening is chaired by Jeffrey Altman and is co-hosted by Julianne Moore, Bart Freundlich, Gianna and Chazz Palminteri and Lisa and Paul Metselaar.
With over 23,000 children sleeping in homeless shelters each night in New York City, the Children’s Health Fund works to ensure these children are properly cared for and receive the necessary education. For more than 27 years, the organization’s co-founders, Paul Simon and Dr. Irwin Redlener, have supported children as they go against the odds and fight against poverty.
Sunset Cocktails on Mill Pond will take place on Saturday, August 9, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets begin at $250.
