The Southampton Arts Center is holding their inaugural SummerFest event on Thursday, August 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. The benefit will feature top entertainment from the Center’s programming partners and delicious dishes from a variety of local restaurants and chefs. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Center’s efforts to enhance the Hamptons community through the arts, including film, music, dance theater, children’s events, lectures and literary series.
“We are thrilled to be hosting SummerFest, where the entire community will be getting involved to support Southampton Arts Center, a hub of arts and culture in Southampton Village,” said SummerFest chair Simone Levinson.
This year’s event chairs are Tiffany and Claus Moller as well as Simone and David Levinson. Donya and Scott Brommer, Lise and Michael Evans and Fernanda Niven will serve as event co-chairs. The honorary committee includes Mikhail Baryshnikov, Vik Muniz, Bryan Hunt, Wynton Marsalis, Adam Pendelton, Emma de Kooning and Robert Wilson.
Tickets begin at $250.
