The Ellen Hermanson Foundation has pledged more than a million dollars for the Ellen Hermanson Breast Cancer Center at Southampton Hospital and as a result, the Center has tripled its size. Along with this generous donation, the Foundation also pledged more than $200,000 for a 3D mammography machine at Southampton Hospital.
The generous Foundation will be making more strides to work toward finding a cure while sponsoring the 18th annual Ellen's Run, a 5K run or walk on Sunday, August 18, which will commence, rain or shine, at 9 a.m. at Southampton Hospital's Parrish Hall on Herrick Road.
