Dubbed "The Lobster Bash", the benefit will feature a spectacular feast of Duryea's signature Lobster Roll, overflowing with succulent meat, clam chowder made from the Duryea family's secret recipe, coleslaw, steamers and more for a $35 donation.
Chip Duryea, said: "I think Fighting Chance is one of the most benevolent charities on the East End - which is why I've served as a Director and why I'm delighted to host the Lobster Bash." Fighting Chance volunteers who are also helping to organize the event include a committee with P.J. Bigelow, Hilary Collins, Nancy Calvert and Rosalie Rusak. Ms. Collins commented: "I've reserved an entire table with a few friends and we hope to make the afternoon a festive outing. Dining waterside is always a special event for us!"
The event will have two seatings at 11:30 a.m and 1 p.m. Duryea Lobster Deck is located at 65 Tuthill Road in Montauk. Tickets will be sold at the door, but to be sure you have a place, purchase your tickets in advance by either calling Fighting Chance at 631 725 4646 or by making an e-donation at www.fightingchance.org
