Actress Taylor Gildersleeve, who has appeared on
Person of Interest, Blue Bloods, Gossip Girl, 30 Rock, and
Law & Order, just finished filming scenes for
Helen of Troy, a new romantic short film that she collaborated on with her husband, artist Brad Livingstone Black. While most of the film was shot in France this past August, the couple decided to use the North Fork as the backdrop for one of the movie's most important scenes. On Monday, April 18th, they wrapped up their East End shoot at the Silver Sands Motel in Greenport. The final
Helen of Troy sequences will be filmed this June in Millbrook, New York, and the film is expected to be released in 2017.

Black wrote and directed
Helen of Troy, which stars Gildersleeve as well as Australian actor Zebedee Row, who recently made a cameo on
Martin Scorsese's
Vinyl on HBO. Black and Gildersleeve also served as the film's executive producers.
Helen of Troy follows Helen, who lived a privileged yet isolated life. As she recalls the flower of her youth, her ability to dream and her time spent with Troy, Helen avows the true fortune of love.
Gildersleeve, who graduated from Mattituck High School, was overjoyed that they could include the North Fork, the location where the past four generations of her family has resided, in
Helen of Troy. "The North Fork is a magical place, and the Silver Sands Motel is a hidden gem and a trip back in time!" said Gildersleeve. "It was really neat to see all of my family members helping with the shoot - cooking food, lending a helping hand, etc... I can't wait for everyone to see this passion project we've been working on for the past year!"
Most recently, the Columbia University graduate starred in a Lifetime Network "Movie of the Week" and a CW network pilot. Additionally, Gildersleeve can be seen in the upcoming AMC series "Feed the Beast" starring
David Schwimmer and Jim Sturgess, which premieres on Tuesday, May 31st, as well as on season 3 of the Hulu series "Deadbeat," and she'll show off her luxurious locks in a Garnier Fructise commercial.
