Laughter Saves Lives literally on Friday, May 10 when the comedians of the Laughter Saves Lives Foundation headline An Evening of Laughter
at Hotel Indigo in Riverhead, in support of Kent Animal Shelter.
In addition to bringing the laughs with sets from Ellen Karris, Joe Currie, and Jamie Gravey, there will be a Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle, snacks, and a cash bar. Frank Fialla will host the evening, which will be held from 7 to 10 p.m.
"We are very excited about this year's Evening of Comedy
on May 10th, kicking off the 50th anniversary celebration of Kent Animal Shelter with over 50,000 lives saved," Pam Green, Director of the Kent Animal Shelter, shared.
The Calverton-based animal shelter, a no-kill haven for homeless, abused and abandoned animals as they await their permanent home, will allocate funds raised from An Evening of Laughter
towards its 2019 Rescue Campaign in support of saving animals from crisis situations and providing transportation, medical care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter for these innocent creatures, with adoption as the end goal.
In the first quarter of 2019 alone, Kent Animal Shelter completed eight rescue missions, giving a second chance at life to 20 innocent dogs that were scheduled to be put down. These animals trekked 1000 miles for their new beginning.
Established by FDNY Fire Fighter(ret) and Stand Up Comic John Larocchia, the Laughter Saves Lives Foundation is a non-profit whose main mission is to provide high-quality, comedy entertainment for charity benefits.
Tickets to An Evening of Laughter
