ELIH Foundation Invites You To Rock Your Heart Out
Eastern Long Island Hospital (ELIH) Foundation is hosting a rocking affair at Greenport Harbor Brewery in Peconic on Saturday, February 9.
The Rock Your Heart Out benefit, which commences at 6 p.m., will feature refreshments, buffet style bites, dancing, exceptional raffle prizes, photo booth fun, and a live performance from a very special group of musicians. The evening will be headlined by POC, a band featuring ELIH's own Dr. Lawrence Schiff, Director of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Ryan Zapata, and John Fazio, CRNA.
Eastern Long Island Hospital Foundation is presenting the event in support of "the heart of ELIH," the Hospital's Emergency Department, which is open 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Led by one of the evening's stars, Dr. Schiff, the department assisted over 8,500 patients in 2017. For the majority of patients (95 percent), the ELIH ER boasts one of the quickest wait times in all of Suffolk County.
"Our Emergency Department provides truly vital services for residents of the North Fork and Shelter Island, and the community's support of these services is equally as vital," Linda Sweeney, Vice President of the ELIH Foundation/External Affairs, relayed.
Tickets to Rock Your Heart Out are $60 per person or $100 per couple.
Greenport Harbor Brewery is located at 42155 Main Road in Peconic. For more information, call 631-477-5164 or visit www.elih.org.
