North Fork Tree Lightings And Holiday Parades

Adore the first sight of a sparkling holiday tree?

The Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council (27320 Route 25, Cutchogue, www.facebook.com) will host a Caroling and Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 1 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The evening will include refreshments, music, Santa, and the lighting.

Phenix Hook & Ladder Co #1's annual Greenport Village Tree Lighting & Parade Of Lights will be held at Greenport Carousel in Mitchell Park (115 Front Street, Greenport, www.facebook.com) on Saturday, December 1 at 5 p.m. The evening will also include a visit from Mr. & Mrs. Claus.

The Orient Beach Tree Lighting, hosted by Orient Beach State Park, will take place at Orient Beach State Park (40000 Main Road, Orient, www.facebook.com) on Friday, December 7 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The evening will include caroling led by Oysterponds Elementary, a special visit from Santa, hot chocolate and cookies, and a food drive and winter coat drive for local families in need.

A Riverhead Holiday Festival, Parade and Bonfire (www.facebook.com) will be held on Saturday, December 8 from 3 to 8 p.m. Taking place from Main Street to Peconic Riverfront, the merriment will feature the Lion's Club Christmas Parade, the Annual Holiday Bonfire, hot cocoa, candy canes, holiday music, and more.
