Since Halloween falls on a Monday this year, you have a weekend's worth of haunted happenings to pick from.

While not exactly a Halloween party, several East End-based breweries, including Montauk Brewing Co., Crooked Ladder Brewing Company, and Long Ireland, are participating in Punktöberfest at Great South Bay Brewery (25 Drexel Drive, Bay Shore, greatsouthbaybrewery.com) on Saturday, October 22nd. The afternoon will mix live music from local punk rock bands, such as Samurai Pizza Cats, Flak Jacket, Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, and Bad Mary, with craft beers (including pumpkin and Oktoberfest styles) and Oktoberfest style eats. Dirndl and lederhosen are acceptable attire, so we figured why not include this seasonal celebration? The VIP Session will be held from 12:45 to 5:30 p.m. and the General Admission Session is from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The following weekend, Long Ireland Beer Company (817 Pulaski Street, Riverhead, longirelandbrewing.com) will hold its 2nd Annual Halloween Party on Friday, October 28th. From 7 to 11 p.m., stop by for craft beer, a costume contest, live music by "Beer Money" and more. Advanced registration is required, as is a captivating getup, as prizes will be awarded for the best attire.

New Life Crisis will headline the Halloween Costume Party at Martha Clara Vineyards (6025 Sound Avenue, Riverhead, www.marthaclaravineyards.com) on Friday, October 28th from 8 to 10 p.m. Singer Paul Mahos will lead the band's "no set list" policy that makes for an exciting evening of music that covers originals and New Life Crisis' unique twist on classics. Treasures will be given out for top costume and top couples costume.

Sound View Restaurant (58775 Route 48, Greenport, www.soundviewrestaurant.com) will host its annual Halloween Party on Saturday, October 29th from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. DJ Anthony will provide the beats and Sound View will hand out awards for the most creative garb.

Get ready to "rock out and raise the dead" when Gene Casey and the Lone Sharks play during a Halloween Party at the Old Mill Inn (5775 West Mill Road, Mattituck, www.oldmillinnmattituck.com) on Saturday, October 29th. The bash begins at 8 p.m. and includes terrific costume contest prizes. On Sunday, head to back to Old Mill Inn for its End of Season Hootenanny featuring Dan Reyburn and friends. The soiree begins at 7 p.m.

Looking for a grand gathering fit for a king or queen? Attend the Halloween Masquerade Ball at Long Island Aquarium (431 East Main Street, Riverhead, www.longislandaquarium.com) on Saturday, October 29th at 8 p.m. The evening will include an open bar, passed hors devours, buffet stations a DJ, dancing and entertainment.
