Jazmin Carrillo, who was born in Guatemala and now calls the North Fork home, established the 501(c)3 non-profit in 2013. "I am grateful for the support that my North Fork community has given Programa Sueños," she expressed. "They make me believe that anything is possible, and it is."

Partygoers will enjoy bites from East End restaurants and food purveyors, as well as Bedell's award-winning wines, and live music from Sara Baglivi.

"With this upcoming fundraiser, we are aiming to raise funds to support the building of a new school this coming year," she noted.

Featured North Fork restaurants and food purveyors will include First & South, Grace & Grit, noah's, Lombardi's Love Lane Market, Love Lane Kitchen, North Fork Table and Inn, and Sang Lee Farms. The evening will also include a live auction led by Long Island chef Tom Schaudel.

In its initial year, Programa Sueños provided scholarship opportunities to 10 children, including backpacks with supplies. Since its inception just three years, the program has expanded to assist 235 children, with music and sports programs at the school. Programa Sueños' most recent accomplishment is a partnership with Colgate that provides dental care to the children. The program's goal is to improve the standard of the students' education, as well as provide them with the tools needed to succeed. The addition of a school would greatly help the organization continue to grow their reach.

"I can't wait to celebrate, and continue raising awareness for these students in need," Carrillo added.

Tickets to the 3rd Annual Spring Fundraiser are $50 per person.
