St. Patrick's Day may still be a few weeks away, but on Saturday, March 5th, Flatty Paddy, everybody's favorite mischievous little leprechaun will be in Riverhead, bringing some of his trickster high jinks to the East End as part of the Suffolk Theater
's March of the Leprechaun's. The annual pub crawl is described as "charitable, non-commercial, non-political, nonsensical and 'only 'appens once a year for absolutely naw reason."
The event begins at the Suffolk Theater at 1 p.m., and from there, follows Paddy on a quest for a pint or two of "liquid gold" and local eats. This year's pub crawl participants include Blue Duck Bakery
, Hyatt Place East End, Jerry and The Mermaid, PeraBell Food Bar, Sonoma Grill, The Suffolk Theater, Vines and Hops, Joe's Garage and Grill, Crooked Ladder Brewing Company
, Digger O'Dells, Cliff's Rendezvous, Hotel Indigo
/ Bistro 72
, and Uncle Joe's Pizza.
And make sure to bring Flatty Paddy along with you on your pre-pub crawl adventures. A downloadable version of the man clad in green is available on the Suffolk Theater's website. If you post pictures of the event's mascot on your Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages with #FlattyPaddy prior to the St. Paddy's Day celebration, you'll be entered to win concert tickets, gift cards, and more.
March of the Leprechaun's is part of a series of fundraising pub crawls presented by the Suffolk Theater that includes Santacon and an Oktoberfest
