"This is not your typical East End fundraiser," noted Kathryn Casey Quigley,
Peconic Community School Co-Director. "Peconic Community School is an innovative, high quality, joyful school with a mission of providing placed-based education. And we love to host events that mirror those qualities."
On Sunday, August 16th, Peconic Community School (PCS) is hosting
SHARE: The Spirit of Community. The annual summer benefit, held at Nagles Barn, will feature local eats and sips, live music by Points East, and a variety of lawn games.
"The 16th will be a spirited, fun night on the farm celebrating community, teachers and education," shared Casey Quigley. "We're thrilled to have pizza from the incredible Rolling in Dough, local beer from
Southampton Publick House, wine from Shinn Estates, coffee from North Fork Roasting company, desert by
Joe & Liza's Ice Cream, live music by the fantastic Points East, lawn games, fire pits, and a silent auction. We can't wait!"
Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Alison Aldredge Fund for Joyful Learning at Peconic Community School. PCS established the memorial fund to honor its kindergarten teacher, Alison Aldredge, who passed away earlier this summer while traveling with her husband in Oregon.
SHARE: The Spirit of Community will take place on Sunday, August 16th from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $100.
