Fireworks, Performances, And More At Peconic Landing’s Annual End Of Summer Celebration
"What started out as a commemorative event has now turned in to an annual community celebration," said Robert J. Syron, President and CEO of
Peconic Landing. "We look forward to celebrating with the North Fork community."
On Sunday, August 30th, Peconic Landing is hosting its 4th annual End of Summer Celebration at their Greenport campus. The evening of music and fireworks, which is free an open to all, usually attracts nearly 700 attendees.
This year, the event will include a performance by the
Atlantic Wind Symphony, which is comprised of 40 musicians from across Long Island. The concert will take place on the patio at Brecknock Hall. At 8:15 p.m., guests can gather at Peconic Landing's community pond with their blankets and chairs for a 20-minute fireworks show.
