"This is our second comedy evening with the Laughter Saves Lives organization, this time with a couple of comedians we didn't see last time," said Pamela Green, Executive Director of the
Kent Animal Shelter. "We're sure this event will be as funny as the first, and who couldn't use a good laugh for a good cause?"
On Friday, April 24th, Kent Animal Shelter is hosting "An Evening of Comedy" from 7 to 11 p.m. at
Hotel Indigo East End in Riverhead. The evening includes a hysterical standup show featuring Laughter Saves Lives comedians, hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, Chinese auction, raffle, pet boutique, a scavenger hunt, and more.
Comedian and retired firefighter John Larocchia will serve as Master of Ceremonies, with headliners John Santos and Peter Bales. Proceeds from the event support the homeless animals at the Calverton Shelter.
Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door.
Hotel Indigo is located at 1830 West Main Street in Riverhead. For more information, call 631-727-5731 or visit www.kentanimalshelter.com.
