This year, the Greenport Maritime Festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary during a three day extravaganza from Friday September, 19 through Sunday, September 21, 2014. Here's a list of all the North Fork happenings:
Friday September, 19th:
6 to 9 p.m. A Land and Sea Greenport Gala hosted at Claudio's waterfront at the foot of Bootleg Alley
Saturday September, 20th:
10 a.m. Blessing of the oyster fleet at Railroad dock, foot of Third Street
11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Opening Day Parade and Blessing of the Waters at Mitchell Park Marina and Main and Front Streets
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Artisan Vendors, Craft Demos, Tastings, and entertainment line the street of the walking village and waterfront
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Captain Kidd's Craft Alley at Mitchell Park
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. A Taste of the East End Food Court at Main Street and Central Avenue
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Altour Travel Show with dozens of tour companies and hourly raffle drawings at Claudio's dock
12 p.m. "Little Merfolk" Contest at Mitchell Park

All day open events include classic, ice and small boats displayed in Mitchell Park and Village Marina, watercraft viewing, tours and sailaways, Maritime Museum, Railroad Museum, Blacksmith Shop, carousel, Old Greenport Jail, Stirling Historical Society, and Fireboat Museum Tours.
Sunday September, 21th:
8:30 to 10:15 a.m. Paul Drum's Breakfast Fundraiser: A Mermaid and Pirate Experience for children of all ages at Front Street Station
