The
Peconic Land Trust's 12th Annual "Through Farms and Fields" Benefit, a Country Supper, will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 5 p.m. The soiree will take place at the home of Peconic Land Trust board member Richard Hogan and Carron Sherry, on historic Ward's Point on Shelter Island. This year's event will honor the conservation philanthropy of Barbara J. Slifka.
The evening will include dinner from Chef
Bryan Futerman, wines and beverages from McCall Wines,
Sparkling Pointe, Wines by Morrell as well as a specialty cocktail designed by
Nick & Toni's Richard Scoffier. Attendees can place their bids during an exciting silent auction featuring golf at the Bridgehampton Club, a Bridge Gardens' cocktail party and tour,
Quail Hill Farm Summer Share, a cashmere package by Chris Arlotta, a private tour and lunch at the
Parrish Art Museum and an Arlotta Oils and Vinegars package.

Sylvester Manor, private cooking lessons with Chef David Lapham and a mini-golf party at
Children's Museum of the East End with a custom ice cream cake from
Joe & Liza's Ice Cream. The auction closes on Tuesday, August 12.
The benefit is a celebration of the local bounty of the East End. From lush salad greens, crisp vegetables, fragrant herbs, sweet fruits from our farms, fresh fish from our shores, to the wonderful wines of our vineyards, there is certainly something for everyone to enjoy.
