Over the next few weeks Santa will be very busy visiting various locations throughout Long Island, with a few special stops planned during North Fork celebrations.
The 3rd Annual NSA Group Insurance & Financial Services (711 Union Avenue, Aquebogue, 631-722-3500,
www.nsainsure.com) Tree Lighting is Friday, December 6, at 5:30 p.m. Enjoy a performance from the Holy Church of Christ Choir, cookies from
Farm Country Kitchen and a visit from Santa.
Santa has a busy day on Saturday, December 7, with stops at
Southold Town Hall (53095 Route 25, 631- 765-1801,
www.southoldtownny.gov) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the
Railroad Museum of Long Island (440 - 4th Street at the LIRR tracks, Greenport, 631-477-0439,
www.rmli.us) from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Mattituck Chamber Santa Day is also on Saturday, December 7, starting at 3 p.m., in the Mattituck Shopping Plaza (10095 Main Road). Catch Christmas carols from the Mattituck-Cutchogue School chorus, free hot chocolate and make sure you have your photo taken with Santa.
Santa will arrive in a vintage truck at the Cutchogue Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 7, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on the Cutchogue Village Green.
Watch as Santa and Mrs. Claus ride down Front Street in Santa's sleigh along with reindeer, elves, snowmen, and even the grumpy Grinch on Sunday, December 8, at 1 p.m. The Greenport Santa Parade will end at the Greenport Fire Department (236 3rd Street, 631-477-1943,
www.greenportfd.org ), where children can meet Santa.
Cutchogue will celebrate Christmas on Saturday, December 14. The festivities begin with a magic show at
Cutchogue Fire Department (260 New Suffolk Road, 631-734-6907,
www.cutchoguefiredept.org). Santa will arrive in style, via helicopter, and will head to the Cutchogue New Suffolk Free Library (27550 Main Road, 631-734-6360,
www.cutchoguelibrary.org) by fire truck to greet adoring children.
