On Sunday, October 23rd, the inaugural Sunday Supper & Autumn Farm Experience will be held at Sep's Family Farm in East Marion in celebration of the harvest

, who curated the menu along with chef Alex Goetzfried. "We're creating an affordable, family-friendly event that showcases the beauty of the land and bounty of the season."
From 1 to 3 p.m., attendees will nosh on an "Americana, country-style supper" that will include savory smoked meats as well as other grilled favorites that have been highlighted on PBS' George Hirsch Lifestyle
. The menu will also showcase incredibly fresh bounty in farm salads and sides, and for your sweet tooth, fresh-baked cobbler and herbal iced tea. Wine and craft beer will also be available, for an additional cost.
"Fall is one of the best seasons for cooking local ingredients, and we look forward to sharing our culinary take on the North Fork's harvest with both locals and visitors alike," added Hirsch.
Additionally, members of the Seps family, whose family farming reaches back five generations, will be on hand to discuss the over fifty varieties of fruits, flowers, herbs and vegetables that are available at the East Marion-based farm.
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door, $10 for children under 12 and free for children under $6. In an effort to pay it forward, a portion of Sunday Supper proceeds will be donated to the Cormaria Retreat House, whose mission is to offer "hospitality to people of all faiths for spiritual and human growth."
