First it was Santacon, followed by March of the Leprechauns. Now it's an ode to Oktoberfest
On Sunday, October 18th, visitors to Downtown Riverhead will feel like they've been transported to Munich, as lederhosen clad crowds take part in Riverhead's First Annual Oktoberfest Pub Crawl.
From 12 to 8 p.m., pub crawlers can trek to Cliff's Rendezvous, Crooked Ladder Brewing Company
, Digger's Fine Food & Spirits, Hotel Indigo
, Joe's Garage & Grill, Long Ireland Beer Company, Mazi, Perabell Food Bar, The Suffolk Theater
, Uncle Joe's Pizzeria, and Vines & Hops for deals on Oktoberfest cuisine and sips. Hyatt Place and Hotel Indigo will also offer special rates.
Along with seasonal specials, The Suffolk Theater will have music from DJ Phil, Sunday football projected on the giant Theater's movie screen, beer pong, dancing, and more from 3 to 8 p.m.
General admission is $10. Proceeds from the charitable, non-commercial, non-political, non-sensible yearly fall celebration will benefit Riverhead Townscape and The North Fork Breast Health Coalition. This year's March of the Leprechauns in the spring raised over $12,000 in support of East End Emerald Society
and Maureen's Haven
