Attendees will sample the best locally produced and internationally-sourced ciders, with over 30 ciders showcased. The event will also include special seminars about cider and the making of cider, and live music from Dan Donnelly. The festival will feature favorites and best-selling U.S. produced ciders like Woodchuck and Angry Orchard, as well as a plethora of imported ciders and perries from England, Ireland and Sweden, such as Strongbow and Rekorderlig. A variety of food trucks will be onsite, so festivalgoers don't get hangry.
Tickets to Pour the Core are $40 and include admission to the festival, a souvenir tasting glass and samples from participating exhibitors.
Proceeds from the event will support KiDS NEED MoRE, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to creating a community through recreational events and camping experiences for children, families and young adults coping with cancer and life-threatening illness.
