Ginés Serrán-Pagán Sculpture Show Opening In Greenport

Gine's Serran Pagen will be included in the 5th Annual Sculpture Exhibition with descriptive audio for the visually impaired at the
Peconic Landing, a senior lifecare community in Greenport, this summer. On June 28, 2014, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the grounds of historic Brecknock Hall Peconic Landing will be featuring an event entitled, "Art Without Barriers: What You Hear is What You See." During this event, the public will be given the opportunity to see how technology enhances art. Digitally enhanced descriptions for nine pieces in the sculpture garden created by local and internationally sculptors including three works from
Ginés Serrán-Pagán.
In addition to Ginés, Xinhua News from Beijing, a renowned international contemporary artist, will also exhibit. His work has been shown in more then 200 exhibitions in twenty countries.
The reception is free, and the sculpture garden is open free to the public from July through October. Groups are asked to make reservations in advance so that they may be accommodated. Those requiring the use of the Peconic Landing assistive technology offerings are also urged to make reservations. A limited number of golf carts with docents will be available.
