Gallery is pleased to announce the exhibit dates for the Annual Members' Show, the theme of which is "Character." This is a non-juried, all media exhibit, which also includes performance art.
The exhibit will be held at the Lyceum Gallery in the Montaukett Learning Resource Center at the Suffolk County Community College
's Eastern Campus in Riverhead, located at 121 Speonk-Riverhead Road, Riverhead. This is not the first partnership between East End Arts and SCCC, but will be East End Arts' first gallery show in this new space. The opening reception for this art show will be held Friday, January 27, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served. The show will run through February 24, 2012.

. "The subject of entries should be anyone or anything with a distinct individual nature." East End Arts is accepting original works on the subject of "Character," no piece over 12 inches in any direction (including the frame). This is a great opportunity for artists to have their work viewed as this is East End Arts' only annual non-juried show. All details about entry can be found by clicking below.
Performance artists have been invited to participate in the opening reception for the Members' Show on Friday, January 27. Some examples include (but are not limited to): dance, mime, magic, a cappello song, acting, juggling, yo-yo tricks, contortionists, tai chi, brief comedy routine. These acts will go on in the background - and there may be more than one going on at the same time. The Members' Show kicks-off the East End Arts 2012 "Life as Art" Gallery Shows. Themes include: Music, Le Morte, Animals, Found Objects, and Joy; all are part of life.
