With Christmas only a few weeks away, gift giving season is in full swing. If you’re one of those shoppers that swears they’re not going to wait until the last minute, and the next thing you know it’s Christmas Eve and you’re in a panic, make this year the year that stops.
Throughout the weeks leading up to Santa Claus’ Long Island visit, Southampton Soap Co., who offers natural artisanal soap and skincare products handcrafted in the Hamptons, is hosting a trio of Holiday Gift Shows that will bring together local artisans and give the community the chance to shop local, while supporting East End organizations. “It’s three nights of artisan shopping in a festive atmosphere with plenty of holiday cheer and beautiful gifts for all,” shared Deborah L. O’Shaughnessy, Owner of Southampton Soap Co. “A portion of sales will be donated to three of our favorite charities each day: The Retreat, Flying Point Foundation for Autism and i-tri Girls.”
Southampton Soap Co. will be joined by a few special friends during the shopping events, including Affine Creations, Backyard Brine Pickle Co., Bizzy Bee Designs, Designs by the Sea, Lora Lomuscio Ceramics, Made in Montauk, Mary Jaffee Pottery, Miss Amy’s Jams, Old School Favorites, Sag Harbor Florist, Temptress Yarns, Valentine’s Farm and more.
“This is a wonderful way to get some holiday shopping done while supporting domestic violence services on the East End,” said Maggie Goldfarb, Director of Development at The Retreat Inc. “We are grateful for Deborah’s generosity in choosing The Retreat this holiday season.”
The Holiday Gift Shows will take place on Tuesday, December 15th from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, December 19th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Tuesday, December 22nd from 4 to 8 p.m.
“Bring a list, leave with a smile,” added O’Shaughnessy.
The Holiday Gift Shows will be held at 832 Scuttle Hole Road in Water Mill. For more information, visit www.southamptonsoapcompany.com.
