On Saturday, November 28th, Sag Harbor Schools is celebrating the start of the season of giving by presenting the 5th Annual Holiday Market at Pierson High School. Not only will attendees be able to begin crossing names off their gift list at the event, which is sponsored by Edible School Gardens, Ltd., but they will also be supporting East End businesses on American Express’ Small Business Saturday.
Christine Alotta Baltz, a Holiday Market volunteer, hopes that the East End community will come out and kickoff their seasonal shopping during the Thanksgiving weekend extravaganza. “The event features 40 vendors and artisans, over 70 raffle auction prizes, refreshments for sale and free admission,” noted Alotta Baltz.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests can enjoy holiday festivities, take a chance on one of the raffle prizes, write letters to Santa, and browse through an assortment of unique goods available for purchase. “You will find a wide variety of wonderful products, gift items and local foods, all under one roof,” added Alotta Baltz. “Proceeds go to our sponsor, Edible School Gardens, Ltd.” Holiday Market vendors will include Boutique 44, Talk Treats To Me, Seacoast Enterprises Associates Inc., Sweet Melissa Dips & Gourmet Catering, YouniquelyMarissa, Lorraine Pepper, Idontdordinary, AmyL Handmade Jewelry, and many more.
