Hamptons Wellness Week (HWW) is celebrating its 6th anniversary this year. The premiere Hamptons wellness event will debut on Saturday, June 2 – with a complimentary morning of “all things wellness under the sun” at Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton.
“The Hamptons wellness community is pretty fascinating and constantly evolving,” noted Kiley DeMarco and Anastasia Gavalas, HWW founders. “Since this event started, Hamptons Wellness Week has evolved along with it and we feel that this year’s event truly reflects the larger wellness community.”
The opening soiree – which will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. – will encompass AKT and Silich Core classes, as well as SUP with Paddle Diva, teas from Plain-T, a beautiful array from Millstone Flowers, nutritious snacks from Sarah Wragge and Erin Parekh, mini massages from Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Wellness Institute, and more.
Following the launch event, participants will be able to work on their wellness – mind, body, and soul – from Saturday, June 2 through Saturday, June 9 at a multitude of Hamptons favorites who will be offering specials to HWWers. This year’s options will range from workout classes to farm goods to natural spray tans to stand-up paddleboarding to chair massages to healthy eats, and more.
Participants will include AKT in Motion, Paddle Dive, Exhale, Pilates C.K.T at Topping Rose, Silich Core + Strength, Stonybrook Southampton Hospital Ed & Phyllis Davis Wellness Institute, Hamptons Jui Jitsu, Hamptons Fit, Melissa Wood Health, Erin Parkh (holistic health coach and lover of all things plant-based, Sarah Wragge (holistic nutritionist + wellness expert), Kalaia (a woman-founded skincare company using only natural ingredients), Lumi Hamptons (organic, natural mobile spray tan), Millstone Flowers, Mythologie (luxurious holistic organic/wildcrafted plant based facial oils), Open Minded Organics, Watermelon Road, and more.
To wrap up the affair, HWW will introduce its inaugural Wellness Farmers Market – taking place on Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Topping Rose House.
The closing party will include plenty of fitness (flow with Melissa Wood, Hamptons Jui Jitsu, and barre with Exhale), of course, and kids will be invited to create their own fabric wings to wear with the Wing It Project and enjoy other projects with Children’s Museum of the East End. The “farmers market with a spin” will feature Watermelon Road’s recently released fruit jerky, Balsa NYC’s ready-to-wear clothing, and other wellness favorites from Open Minded Organics, Mythologie, Fair Harbor Clothing, Kalaia, Love your Life Coastal, and Essential Rose Life.
A portion of the proceeds from the week will support Wing It Project, whose mission is to empower youth through collaboration with purpose and inspiring leaders.
“We love that HWW supports both local mom and pop businesses (many of which, we ourselves utilize year round) as well as some great new summer pop-ups. Although the Hamptons is known as a summer playground, Hamptons Wellness Week kicks off the season with a focused intention to take care of ourselves, support one another, and embrace the pleasure of wellness,” the duo shared.
There is no fee to attend the opening or closing event, however RSVP is required for the opening event.
