Stuck in a workout rut or looking to really ramp up your fitness routine?
From June, Sunday 11 through Sunday, June 18, the 5th annual Hamptons Wellness Week (HWW) will return to offer an entire week of exciting specials for the mind, body, and soul that will help jumpstart your journey to accomplish any wellness goals – whether it be becoming more mindful, working out more or treating yourself to some luxurious pampering.
HWW will kick-off with a complimentary event at Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton on Saturday, June 10. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. attendees can learn more about what’s to come, take a master fitness class with Holly Rilinger or Paddle Diva, relax with Exhale Spa or Kadampa Meditation, enjoy non-toxic manicures, hand treatments, acupuncture, massage, local healthy refreshments, test drive a Tesla, and so much more. Admission to the opening party is free, however, donations to the Wing It Project, a local grass roots non-profit that funds education and empowerment for children, will be graciously accepted at the door along with a chance to win a great raffle prize.
“The best part of this event is that every year is totally different as new brands and businesses catch on, from local shops to big national brands, the Hamptons organically attracts a variety of wellness providers in order to encourage locals and weekenders alike to update their wellness routine,” shared Anastasia Gavalas and Kiley DeMarco, Hamptons Wellness Week Co-Founders. “Hamptons Wellness Week unites the wellness community and shares an insider’s perspective of must-try experiences so that we help people in the community rethink and redesign their personal approach to their well-being.”
HWW participants will be able to take advantage of a wide variety of deals and discounts from Paddle Diva, Shima, Melissa Wood Health, Marvil Fit, Hamptons Gym Corp, Exhale Spa, Hampton Coffee Company, Rave Salon, Electric Love Yoga, GNC, One Healthy Hamptons, Manicare, LAE Wellness, White’s Apothecary, Kadampa Meditation Center, Symmetry Studio, Rejuvalift Southampton, Big Buddha Yoga, Southampton Hospital’s Ed & Phyllis Davis Wellness Institute, Silich Core + Strength, and many other local wellness favorites from Westhampton to Montauk. Wellness offerings will feature SUP, craniosacral therapy, yoga, pilates, barre, cycling, piyo, cupping, acupuncture, massages, nutrition consultation, and much more.
“This year, we were both immersed in our own lives (Kiley just had a baby and I with my charity and my own family) and immediately after we started to put feelers out for HWW 2017 there was overwhelmingly positive feedback that we just couldn’t ignore,” noted Gavalas. “We’ve learned to abandon our own expectations each year as the event emerges organically with our amazing connections within this special community.”
Additionally, United Healthcare will present a duo of invigorating HWW happenings. On Sunday, June 11, stop by Hampton Coffee Company in Water Mill for a free yoga class in their garden at 9:30 a.m., followed by complimentary iced acai tea. On Saturday, June 17, a live DJ yoga class will be held at Old Stove Pub in Sagaponack at 11 a.m., followed by sips and snacks in the sun. Attendees must bring their own mat to both classes.
“HWW 2017 will be better than ever thanks to the many unique offers and exceptional collaborative way in which the wellness community came together once again to support and celebrate wellness on the East End,” the duo added.
Gavalas and DeMarco founded Hamptons Wellness Week to help participants find balance in their life. HWW centers on experiences that mix accessible, affordable ways to unwind, indulge, and focus on well-being.
