The social season of the Hamptons is in full swing, and out here even our pets keep a social calendar. Whether being seen strutting down Main Street, running at the beach, grooming appointments and charitable causes, our canines are out and about and living as large in The Hamptons as there owners. Below are this weekends top picks for dogs and those that love them:

1. Arf's Pet Celebration Day. Come to the Animal Rescue Fund of The Hamptons adoption center on Saturday, June 2, for a morning of fun to show our appreciation for our pets. Games and contests, agility courses, and free micro chipping and rabies vaccines available. Dreesens Famous Donuts and Hamptons Coffee Company drinks will be on hand too! (90 Daniels Hole Road, East Hampton. Call Gloria Callender at 631-537-0400 for more information.)

2. Doggy Yappy Hour. Our second Yappy Hour is back at Foodys' restaurant in Water Mill on Saturday June 2, from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Water Mill Shops. Bring your dog for the ultimate dog friendly happy hour. The Hampton Pet Chef is back with complimentary gourmet hors d'oeuvres for the dogs. Foody's will offer food and drink specials for the owners. Gimme Shelter Animal Rescue will have pets available for adoption. Your host Lisa The Dog Trainer will answer training questions and sign copies of her book and much, much more! An event not to miss. (760 Montauk Highway, Water Mill. 786-942-7387. 3. Hamptons Pet Concierge. Not sure where to find a Vet to come to your house at 3 a.m.? Is your dog tired of kibble and craving a nutritious and delicious home cooked meal? Maybe Rover needs a couture outfit, manners lessons or an hour of enrichment with a top dog trainer in the Hamptons. Whatever your pets' needs, this new luxury pet service company is your go to resource. (www.HamptonsCanineConcierge.com)

4. Hampton Dogs Book. This is the last week to get your dog in the "Who's Who" of canines. For $320 your dog will be photographed in the Hamptons location of your choice, have a full page color photo in the book with their profile, and you receive a copy of the book. A generous portion of the proceeds benefits local animal shelters and raises awareness for their causes. (Call Lisa at 786-942-7387 for details. www.LisaTheDogTrainer.com)
