ELIH Nurse Of Excellence For 2011

Greenport - Katherine Bach, RN of Greenport is Eastern Long Island Hospital's "Nurse of Excellence" for 2011.

Katherine will be recognized at the Nurse of Excellence Award Reception hosted by the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council, Inc.

This annual event pays tribute to nurses who consistently demonstrate their commitment to the highest standards of quality healthcare - strong nursing skills, hard work, intelligence and a deep sense of caring.

"Katherine was nominated by her peers for her dedication to the nursing profession," states D. Patricia Pispisa, RN, Vice President of Patient Care Services. "She is an outstanding nurse and a valued member of the Operating Room team."

Katherine has been at ELIH for three and a half years. She currently resides in Orient.
