During New York Fashion Week, every minute detail matters, from the model's outfit to her hair to her manicure. For the Carmen Marc Vavlo F/W 2016 Collection, manicurist Gina Edwards for Kiss Products, Inc. accentuated the line with gold glitter faded nails. "This glitter fade effect adds some 'sparkle' to an otherwise classic manicure," explained Edwards.
Carmen Marc Valvo
's collection was inspired by the Vienna Secession, with its floral embellishments with geometric industrial highlights. For each model's mani, Edwards lightly polished gold Kiss Nail Artist Paint onto nude nails.
How To Achieve The Look:
1. Apply two coats of Kiss Gel Strong Polish in Vitamin and let dry.
2. Using Kiss Nail Artist Paint in gold, pour a few drops onto wax or foil.
3. Using the flat brush from the Kiss Salon Secrets Nail Art Tool Kit, lightly paint polish upward from the tip of the nail to the center to create a fade of glitter.
4. Follow with topcoat.
