UJA Women’s Philanthropy Hosts Annual Hamptons Trunk Show

Bridgehampton - UJA-Federation of New York's Manhattan Women's Philanthropy will hold its fourth annual Hamptons Trunk Show on Thursday, Aug. 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The day long event features shopping, music, and refreshments in an elegantly tented outdoor space, showcasing designer clothing for women, men, and children as well as designer jewelry, furs, swimwear, and home accessories.

Participating designers will include Carlos Falchi, Elie Tahari, MacKenzie-Childs, Pologeorgis Fur Fashions, Felix Ray, Brett Sandler Swimwear, Love Quote Scarves and Aileen Gural Jewelry among others. Twenty percent of the proceeds of all sales will benefit UJA-Federation.

Lyss Stern, will be on hand to sign copies of her hit book, If You Give a Mom a Martini, 100 Ways to Find 10 Blissful Minutes For Yourself, by Lyss Stern and Julie Kalappas, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The all-day event is chaired by Ramy Sharp and vice chaired by Jill Bikoff, Stacey Kaye Bronfman, Harriet Croman, Jamie Mitchell, Sara Pilot, Nirit Resnick, and Joyce Scharfer. Admission is $25.

UJA-Federation of New York, among the world's largest local philanthropies, raises funds to sustain the activities of more than 100 health, human-service, educational, and community-building agencies. These community-based organizations provide a multitude of services that combat poverty, help the elderly age with dignity, promote Jewish identity and renewal, strengthen children and families, and open doors to those with disabilities and special needs.
