The Plaza Cafe (61 Hill St.,
Southampton, NY, 631-283-9323) will host a star chef and wine dinner on
Monday, May 16th. The dinner will be created by a collaboration of star
chefs who have received 16 stars from the New York Times together over the
years. The chefs include: Tom Schaudel of Coolfish and Passionfish, Michael
Meehan of Peconic Bay Winery, John Montgomery of Pine Hollow Country Club,
Blake Verity of Muttontown Country Club and Doug Gulija of The Plaza Café.
The dinner will feature a reception with hors d'oeuvres and wine starting at
6 p.m. followed by a 5 course dinner with each chef preparing a course.
Each course will be paired with Opus One wines. The cost is $250 per
