On The Vine - Over the course of the summer season, hundreds of wines found their way into my glass. Most were local - from Long Island. This year, a great many wines from other areas of our great state were in the mix, wines from places like the Finger Lakes and the Hudson Valley, and, of course there were a few wines from the rest of the global wine world - everywhere from Italy to California to New Zealand to Canada.
