With the holiday season near, but not quite close enough to start decking the halls, it's the perfect time to brush up on your bubbly knowledge. And, luckily enough for us, The Baker House 1650
, a boutique award-winning Hamptons inn, is welcoming Champagne Philippe
Gonet for a weekend of indulgence that kicks off with a champagne seminar and tasting.
"I was very fortunate to be able to travel to Reims and Epernay, the Champagne area of France, this past June and fell in love with that part of world," Antonella Bertello, Owner The Baker House
1650, shared. "I thought it would be wonderful to bring a little of French champagne magic to The Baker House 1650, and Chantal Gonet from The Champagne House of Philippe Gonet graciously accepted. And since we are both boutique establishments, it was a perfect fit!"
On Saturday, October 21, a seminar "on all things champagne" - which will include a guided tasting of Philippe Gonet selections - will be held at 5 p.m. Afterwards, attendees will be treated to an early evening cocktail party where guests can meet and chat with the winemaker.
