Thanksgiving Specials Across The Hamptons

All of the traditional flavors of Thanksgiving dinner without any of the prep work are only a reservation away at restaurants across the Hamptons.

Looking to forgo the cooking this Thanksgiving and focus on the family and fun instead? Treat everyone to a night out at any number of great Hamptons restaurants for a delicious meal at a great price. Best of all you can sit back and enjoy the pumpkin pie without any of the after-dinner clean-up.

Southampton Publick House, 40 Bowden Square, Southampton, 631-283-2800, www.publick.com

Thanksgiving dinner at the Publick House features roasted turkey, apple-walnut-and-Brie-stuffed pork tenderloin, a grilled strip steak, and cedar-scented roasted salmon. Appetizers include New England clam chowder, roasted butternut squash and pumpkin bisque, crab cakes, a watercress and candied-walnut salad with blue cheese, and a mesclun salad with roasted beets. Dessert options are pumpkin pie, apple crisp, chocolate bread pudding, and ice cream. The Thanksgiving meal will be served from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. $24.95 per person; children 10 and under, $14.95.

For a buffet-style Thanksgiving, try The Southampton Inn from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The buffet is $25 for adults and $15 for children and includes roasted turkey with apple-and-chestnut stuffing, pumpkin-and-butternut squash bisque, honey-bourbon glazed ham, pasta primavera with parmesan pesto cream, pumpkin pie, apple cobbler, and sour-cherry-brioche bread pudding.

The 1770 House has attentive service in an elegant dining room, warmed by a comforting fireplace. Open Thanksgiving Day from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Three courses, $75 adults, $35 children. Traditional turkey dinner with stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy and more.

The New American restaurant at The Inn at Quogue Main will do a buffet, serving roasted turkey, mango-clove-glazed baked ham, herb-crusted roast beef, and a roasted wild salmon filet. To start, a roasted butternut-squash bisque, and a mesclun salad with dried cranberries, candied pecans and Gorgonzola. For dessert, pumpkin, apple, pecan, and coconut custard pies are available plus cookies, cannoli, and ice cream. The price is $24.95 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Stonewalls in Riverhead will serve roasted organic turkey paired with apple-and-sausage stuffing, whipped potatoes, yams, rutabagas and cranberry chutney. For those who want a turkey alternative, there will be Crescent Farm duck a l'orange with wild rice, grilled rib steak Bordelaise, and pompano belle-meuniere. For appetizers, there are crabcakes, corn chowder, and spinach salad. Serving from 12 noon to 7 p.m. $32 to $42, depending on the main course.

The lovely Tierra Mar will serve a buffet dinner with roasted turkey, honey-glazed smoked ham, garlic-crusted sirloin steak, pumpkin pie, apple crisp and chocolate-bourbon pecan pie. The buffet is $40 for adults and $20 for children under 10. Tierra Mar will serve from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Sunset Café will be cooking up some Thanksgiving treats for this Thanksgiving. Come into the café and pick up delicious pies, cookies and other sweet treats for entertaining. The café will be open and taking orders on Friday, Nov. 21 through Sunday, Nov. 23, and will be open on Wednesday, Nov. 26.

The Patio @ 54 Main, 54 Main Street, Westhampton Beach, 631-288-0100

In addition to its already booked Thanksgiving take-out service, the Patio @ 54 Main will be serving dinner from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. At $30 per person, the menu is made up of delectable soups, salads, entrees and desserts, and as always, their ala carte menu is always available. Diners can start with a choice of root vegetable puree or poached pear salad with craisins, walnuts and gorgonzola cheese over mixed greens with champagne vinaigrette. As an entrée, chefs are preparing bourbon glazed ham, pan-seared Mahi Mahi with lemon dill sauce, and of course, roasted turkey with stuffing, whipped potatoes, candied yams, green beans and cranberry sauce. If there's room for dessert, diners can complete their meals with either pumpkin, apple or pecan pie. For children 12 and under, the meal is $15.

Spinnakers, 63 Main Street, Sag Harbor, 631-725-9353

This American restaurant, located next door to the Sag Harbor Municipal Building, will be serving a Thanksgiving feast this holiday from 1:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. For $30, patrons can sample a variety of appetizers, including clams casino, assorted sides and their choice of salad. For the main course, Spinnakers is also giving diners a choice with rack of lamb, Beef Wellington, salmon, and the traditional turkey. Reservations are filling up quickly for Spinnakers, in the heart of Sag Harbor.

The American Hotel, 49 Main Street, Sag Harbor, 631-725-3535

The American Hotel will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving dinner from 12 noon to 8 p.m. on Thursday. The five-course meal includes a variety of options ranging from fish to chicken to steak, and of course turkey, priced at $70 a person. Reservations have filled up fast, however, the hotel expects to be able to squeeze people in for an early dinner before 4 p.m.

Gurney's Inn, 290 Old Montauk Highway, Montauk, 668-1700

The seaside resort and spa will be open for dinner on Thanksgiving, offering a full menu with entrees ranging from $28 to $35 that includes your choice of appetizer and dessert as well. Gurney's Inn also offers an alternative menu for the "Little Pilgrims" with entrees for $16.

The Harvest will be open and serving on Thanksgiving from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. This American restaurant will be offering a traditional Thanksgiving menu.
