Raffle Featuring Amazing Hamptons Culinary Experiences To Support Local Restaurant Workers That Are Unemployed Due To COVID-19

Southampton-based personal chef Robyn Diederiks is doing her part to help support East Enders currently unemployed due to COVID-19 through a raffle she established.

"There has been an overwhelming cry for help in the restaurant community," Diederiks noted. "I've seen some close friends having to close their doors, and the people they employed now wondering how they're going pay their bills. I started this raffle because I personally couldn't give any more to these relief funds, but desperately wanted to continue to help."

Funds raised through the raffle will be distributed to GoFundMe accounts established by local restaurants, including Honest Man Group (which encompasses Rowdy Hall, Nick & Toni's, Coche Comedor, Townline BBQ and La Fondita), Almond, and Elaia Estiatorio, to help pay the eateries' staff.

The raffle features more than ten pretty amazing prizes, including A private farm to table dinner for you and three friends cooked by Chef Robyn Diederiks (First Drawing), Private 8 course Greek tasting menu for you and three friends, cooked by Bridgehampton's Elaia chef Radu Grigore (Second Drawing), Private dinner for you and three friends by Chef Jeremy Blutstein (Third Drawing), A paella for you and three friends delivered by chef and caterer Peter Ambrose (Fourth Drawing), Build-your-own ceviche cooking class for you and three friends with private chef Dyanne Iandoli (Fifth Drawing), One month of weekly deliveries from Jonny's Gourmet Mushrooms (Sixth Drawing), Dinner for four at Harbor Bistro in East Hampton (Seventh Drawing), Two tickets to the next Ecological Culture Initiative's farm to table dinner (Eighth Drawing), A variety of CBD oils from Open Minded Organics (Ninth Drawing), Two t-shirts from Estia's Little Kitchen (Tenth Drawing), A variety of specialty provisions from L & W Market (Eleventh Drawing), 3 dozen oysters delivered to you by Violet Cove Oyster Co. (Twelfth Drawing), and A party for 50 people, catered by Home Slice Pizza (Thirteenth Drawing).

"Please consider donating to this cause, not only to potentially win one of the awesome prizes generously donated by people in our community, but to provide relief to those currently unemployed due to this pandemic," Diederiks noted.

Entries will close on Thursday, April 30.

Tickets are $10 each, 3 for $25, 10 for $85, and 20 for $150.

As of Thursday, April 23, the raffle has raised $3,145 raised.
