As with many other industries, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has had a devastating impact on the restaurant industry - one that can be felt throughout the nation.
Honest Man Restaurant Group - which encompasses the Hamptons' Coche Comedor, La Fondita
, Nick & Toni's
, Rowdy Hall
, and TownLine BBQ
- has established the Honest Man Relief Fund to raise money for their employees who were laid off during this difficult time.
"As a result of the current Coronavirus pandemic we are facing, Honest Man had to lay off over 100 members of our restaurant family," Mark Smith
, Honest Man CEO, noted. "In order to help support our staff who have lost their jobs, we initiated the Honest Man Workers Relief Fund as a vehicle to raise money for our family of employees."
Customers who order take-out from Coche Comedor, Nick & Toni's, Rowdy Hall, and TownLine BBQ will have the option to donate to the relief fund in lieu of gratuity.
