Guild Hall (158 Main Street, East Hampton, www.guildhall.org) is hosting its annual Gingerbread House Making Workshop with Citarella on Saturday, December 9 from 12 to 1 p.m. If you haven’t reserved a spot for this highly anticipated event yet, you might have to wait until next year because it’s sold out, but there is a wait list you can add your name to.
Townline BBQ (3593 Townline Road, Sagaponack, www.townlinebbq.com) is partnering with The Salty Canvas to host a duo of gingerbread workshops. The first one – for kids – will take place on Sunday, December 10 from 1 to 3 p.m. The final one – for adults – will take place on Monday, December 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. Admission is $45, which includes an already assembled gingerbread house, icing, unlimited candy, a complimentary juice or soda (during the kids workshop) and one free happy hour drink (during the adults workshop).
Hampton Library (2478 Main Street, Bridgehampton, www.hamptonlibrary.org) is switching it up with a Gingerbread Cookie Decorating event on Saturday, December 9 from 12 to 1 p.m. Admission is free and the Library will provide the cookies. Reserving a spot is recommended.
Montauk Library (871 Montauk Highway, Montauk, www.montauklibrary.org) is presenting a complimentary Family Gingerbread Houses with The Baking Coach event on Saturday, December 9 at 2 p.m. The afternoon will include constructing your own gingerbread house, using cookie cutouts, royal icing and plenty of candy and every family will leave with a finished gingerbread house. Admission is free and the Library will provide the sweets. Reserving a spot is recommended.
The Candied Anchor (721 Main Street, Montauk, www.candiedanchor.com) is holding its 4th annual Gingerbread Decorating Day on Friday, December 15 at 3:30 p.m. Admission is $15, which will get you everything you could possibly need to make your own custom gingerbread house. Reservations are required.
