This year, Hamptons Restaurant Week© turns 15, and in honor of the milestone anniversary, Long Island Restaurant and Hospitality Group (LIRHG) – who spearheads the spectacular promotion, has revealed that 2017 will feature a new and improved version of the already popular event – East End Restaurant Week.
As per usual, diners will be pleased to know that a three-course prix fixe menu will still be offered at participating restaurants for $28.95, every night they are open except Saturday when the menu may only be offered until 7 p.m., but the discounts don’t stop when dinner is over. Patrons can take advantage of a staycation at participating lodging, who will offer exclusive discounts; with a minimum 10-percent discount off your stay during the promotion (certain limitations may apply). So now, not only can you eat at some of the area’s most acclaimed restaurants for a fraction of the price, you can enjoy turndown service at a local lodging that you otherwise may have never visited.
Long Island Restaurant and Hospitality Group, the business-to-consumer promotions division of WordHampton Public Relations, launched Hamptons Restaurant Week© to boost business at East End restaurants during the off-season.
While in the beginning, the promotion was available solely throughout the South Fork, its popularity caught on and it eventually expanded to cover the End East, including the North Fork.
“We’ve always received a tremendous amount of support from the North Fork,” explained LIRHG President Steve Haweeli. “It’s time we recognize that and show our appreciation for all restaurateurs involved.”
The promotion is beneficial to all, for eateries, it draws in customers during a traditionally slow period, and patrons have the opportunity to experience the East End culinary scene at deeply discounted prices. Just earlier this year, LIRHG debuted the inaugural Winter Long Island Restaurant Week.
In the past, Hamptons Restaurant Week© has featured local hotspots like Nick & Toni’s Restaurant in East Hampton, Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton, The 1770 House Restaurant & Inn in East Hampton, noah’s in Greenport, Rumba Inspired Island Cuisine and Rum Bar in Hampton Bays, The Living Room at c/o The Maidstone in East Hampton, Baron’s Cove in Sag Harbor, Wolffer Kitchen in Sag Harbor, Red Bar Brasserie in Southampton, and so many more.
East End Restaurant Week will take place from Sunday, March 26th through Sunday, April 2nd.
