If you thought since the holidays are over the time to indulge has finally ended, the inaugural Winter Long Island Restaurant Week is giving you one more tempting excuse to break your diet during a weeklong foodie experience. Fans of Long Island Restaurant & Hospitality Group's Long Island Restaurant Week and Hamptons Restaurant Week will be happy to learn that the Long Island wide dining deal has expanded to include a January extravaganza that will make its debut on Sunday, January 22nd and run through Sunday, January 29th.

"Restaurant week has always been a win-win for all involved," noted Marissa Jacobs, Account Executive at WordHampton Public Relations - who represents Long Island Restaurant & Hospitality Group. "Diners get to enjoy dinner at an unbeatable price, and restaurant seats become full during a traditionally slow period of time."

From Sunday to Sunday, several local restaurants will offer patrons a three-course prix fixe for $27.95 all night, with the exception of Saturday when the deal will only be available until 7 p.m. Winter Long Island Restaurant Week participating eateries will span across the region's 118-miles - from Garden City all the way to Montauk.

"Now, with over a decade of success, we are proud to introduce the inaugural Winter Long Island Restaurant Week," she noted.

East End eateries that are participating in the Winter Long Island Restaurant Week launch include Centro Trattoria & Bar in Hampton Bays, Saaz Indian Cuisine in Southampton, Le Charlot Southampton in Southampton, Union Cantina in Southampton, Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton, Page 63 Main in Sag Harbor, Stone Creek Inn in East Quogue, aMano Restaurant in Mattituck, Bistro 72 in Riverhead, Caci North Fork Restaurant in Southold, Cooperage Inn in Calverton, Farm Country Kitchen in Riverhead, Legends in New Suffolk, Paces Dockside in Mattituck, and The North Fork Table in Southold.

If you keep saying you're going to step out of your culinary comfort zone, this is your chance.

"We expect that this dedicated week will follow suit with the fall and spring promotions, and create many happy people, diners and restaurateurs alike," added Jacobs.

Long Island Restaurant Week was established in the fall of 2006 to bring attention to the area's restaurants. The popular event expanded in 2011, with the first spring Long Island Restaurant Week.
