The best of the best will battle for top honors during The Clamshell Foundation’s Chili Cook Off Fundraiser at the American Legion Post #419 on Sunday, January 25th from 1 to 4 p.m.
Admission to the competition is $100 for professionals and $25 for individuals. Chili entries must be brought to the event fully prepared and competitors must bring a minimum of three gallons. All submissions must include a list of ingredients used. The cook off is limited to 32 contestants and pre-registration is required.
For those who prefer to spend the afternoon tasting the final product, admission is $20 or $10 for kids under age 12. The event will also feature a 50/50 raffle.
Proceeds from the benefit will support college scholarships for High School Seniors and also help provide meals for Food Programs at local Churches.
Chili Cook Off Fundraiser attendees must be a member of The Clamshell Foundation. The $1 membership fee will be waived during their membership drive and registration will be available at the door.
