East End Spring Break Workshops, Classes, And Happenings

Is your little one dreading being cooped up in the house over Spring Break? Sign them up for one of these exciting activities.

East End Arts (141 East Main Street, Riverhead, www.eastendarts.org) is hosting a Mythology and Graphic Illustration workshop with James Beihl for students ages 13 to 17. Participants will draw inspiration from the art and aesthetics of various cultures as they create their own works. Additionally, East End Arts will present Comics and Cartooning with James Beihl for ages 9 to 12. Students will have the chance to create their own comic strips, with their very own characters. Classes will take place Monday, April 2 through Thursday, April 5 - with both classes taking place from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

The Golden Eagle (144 North Main Street, East Hampton, www.goldeneagleart.com) will have a Kids Community Art Class With Kate Gimbel Goldman on Monday from 4 to 5 p.m.

Rogers Memorial Library (91 Coopers Farm Road, Southampton, myrml.org) will explore the legacy of America's greatest showmen, P.T. Barnum and John Ringling, during The History Of The Circus presented by Marilyn Carminio on Tuesday, April 3 at 11 a.m.

The Hampton Library (2478 Main Street, Bridgehampton, hamptonlibrary.org) will have a YA Spring Break Movie Afternoon on Tuesday, April 3 at 3:30 p.m. Additionally, Hampton Library will welcome modern pop artist Michael Albert on Thursday, April 5. Albert will discuss his "Cerealism" and guide students as they create their own masterpieces. The class begins at 4 p.m.

Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts' (1 Bay Street, Sag Harbor, www.baystreet.org) Musical Theater Workshop will revolve around Annie. Taking place Wednesday, April 4 through Friday, April 6, teaching artist Bethany Dellapolla will guide the camp that will explore a multitude of scenes and songs from the classic Broadway musical. Classes will begin at 9 a.m.

The Young Cowgirls will create their own theatrical garden party at Guild Hall (158 Main Street, East Hampton, www.guildhall.org) on Wednesday, April 4 at 3:30 p.m.
