Sandy Update: Hampton Bays Middle School Shelter Re-Opens, Other Shelters Information And Flanders Fire Department Blood Drive Information

The shelter at the Hampton Bays Middle School (88 East Argonne Road) has been reopened. For more information call 631-723-4700 extension 2101.
The Hampton Bays Senior Center will be open throughout the weekend for special needs seniors.
Shelters are also open at the Sachem East High School (177 Granny Road, Farmingville) and Brentwood High School (Sonderling Building, 52 Third Avenue, Brentwood)
Hot meal and showers are available at the shelters but bring your own towel and toiletries.
There are two pet friendly shelters at the Brentwood Rec Center (99 Third Avenue, Brentwood) and Suffolk County Community College
Eastern Campus (Corchaug Building, 121 Speonk-Riverhead Road, Riverhead).
The Flanders Fire Department (19 Firehouse Lane, Riverhead) is holding a blood drive November 3, from 1 to 7 p.m.
The Southampton Emergency Operations Center will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. For more information call 631-728-3030. The Supervisor's Office will also be open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The phone number is: 631-283-6055.
