• 1,575,645 COVID-19 tests were administered, an addition of 17,883 tests
• 1164 new cases were reported
• 69,024 total cases
• 4.4% of those tested since March have been confirmed positive for COVID-19
• 6.2% tested positive on Long Island yesterday; 5.7% positive on a 7-day average
• 6.5% tested positive in Suffolk County yesterday; 6.2% positive on a 7-day average
Antibody Testing
• 31,448 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 tested positive for antibodies
• 300,447 in total have tested positive for antibodies
Fatalities
• 6 fatalities
• 2,089 total fatalities
COVID-19 Hospitalizations data from December 7, 2020
• 382 individuals were hospitalized, an increase of 23 in 24 hours
• 40 were new admissions
• 63 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an increase of 6 in 24 hours
• 28 patients were in the ICU and intubated
• 25 were discharged since the last report
• 6,639 have been discharged since March 22
Hospital Capacity
• 2,997 hospital beds, 654 available, 22 percent
• 394 ICU beds, 101 available, 26 percent
